The job
Working with the Concessions & Catering Programmes Manager, the Concessions & Catering Programmes Coordinator (m/f/d) will contribute to the definition and operational implementation of all non-Hospitality related catering programmes to be delivered within the 10 host venues. These programmes include:
  • Teams & Match Officials Catering 
  • Workforce Catering
  • Media Catering Services 
  • Workforce Celebratory Events
  • Spectator Concessions

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
  • Supporting all aspects of Concessions & Catering Programmes Project
  • Managing the onsite Concessions & Catering Programmes teams during the tournament, providing leadership to allow successful implementation of all catering programmes
  • Acting as a liaison for the EURO 2024 GmbH Venue Operations team, for concessionaires and Stadium operators as well as for official F&B partners
  • Establishing a good working relationship with the concessionaires and Stadium operators to ensure a smooth collaboration throughout the planning, implementation and tournament phase
  • Evaluating existing concessions and stadium catering facilities and identifying areas of improvement to provide a high level of service to the spectators as well as to the F&B and other relevant brands associated with UEFA EURO 2024
  • Coordinating with other EURO 2024 projects, such as Signage, Technical Services and ICT, to define and coordinate requirements for delivery of the project
  • Participating in working visits to the UEFA EURO 2024 stadia
  • Managing contracted suppliers to ensure delivery of all services as detailing in services agreement
  • Monitoring KPIs and reporting on performance of suppliers
  • Coordinating with Commercial Partners to ensure full delivery of the contractual rights of official F&B partners
  • Working with the concessionaires and Signage team to prepare accurate menu and tariff boards for all F&B concessions outlets
  • Managing the tournament-wide meal voucher and counting system for the Workforce Catering programme
  • Compiling presentations on project status and concept for internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting with the recruitment of the on-site Concessions & Catering Programmes teams
  • Handling project administration – processing of contracts, coordinating accreditation requirements, invoicing, reporting, project planning, developing reporting tools
  • Compiling training materials and delivering training and sessions to onsite teams;  
  • Providing input into reporting systems: provide regular updates of project progress, contribute to working visits and debrief reports
  • Analysing sales and consumption data post-tournament for presentations, debrief documents and archiving
  • Managing the Concessions Project Sharepoint sites and filing systems
  • Working closely with the Hospitality Production team to make use of synergies and support the team onsite (missions of 5 to 10 days) during Club Finals and / or other National Team Competitions taking place ahead of UEFA EURO 2024.
  • Bachelor or equivalent qualifications in event management, project management, logistics, or international business.
Work experience
  • 3 years experience in the food and beverage, catering, or related professional area
  • Experience working in food & beverage projects at international or high-profile events
  • Knowledge of the food & beverage concessions industry in Germany
