The job
The Recruiting Assistant (m/f/d) supports the Recruiting Officer in all recruitment related topics. He*She is part of the REC project within the HR department and supports in ensuring a smooth and professional recruitment due to all pre-defined requirements. This role includes planning and coordination of interviews, and relieving the team in implementing processes and management of all necessary REC matters.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
  • Supports in implementing and managing the recruiting concept for all 10 venues
  • Works with the recruiting module in EURO 2024 GmbH’s HR-Software Personio: Posting of job
    descriptions, managing the career site, sending rejections, maintaining a talent pool etc.
  • In close collaboration with the responsible colleagues he*she supports in developing job descriptions for all
    open positions
  • Pre-Selection of applications, regular exchange with the Units and the responsible colleagues
  • Schedules, prepares, leads, and evaluates job interviews with candidates
  • Leads the salary negotiations with candidates and is therefore responsible for staying in the predefined
    HR-budget
  • Supports in reporting and statistics of recruiting channels to discover other potential networks for publishing job
    advertisements
  • Supports in planning, coordinating, and implementing career days at universities, the EURO 2024 HQ and EURO 2024
    venues
  • Ensures a smooth communication to the HR Business Partners for an efficient and professional
    onboarding process
  • Supports in creating reports of the recruiting status to the management of EURO 2024 GmbH
Education
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • HR Management
Work experience
  • 1-2 years experience in recruiting context, e.g. in a full-time/part-time job or as an intern, working student,
  • First experience in a sport/event organisation an asset
Set of Skills
  • HR Management (advanced)
  • German (proficient)
  • English (proficient)
  • Any other language an asset
  • Computer-literate: Office 365 (esp. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
