Ticketing Access Control Technical Specialist

The job
For UEFA EURO 2024, we are looking for a Ticketing Access Control Specialist (m/f/d) responsible for planning and implementing the ticketing access control project and managing access control external providers for several venues. The main objective of the access control project is to implement an interface in between the UEFA ticketing solution and the venues’ access control infrastructure.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
The Ticketing Access Control Technical Specialist will be responsible forhandling the relationship with Stadium Access Control providers and for planning, monitoring and delivering thekey project milestones for each venue/access control provider.  

  • Ensure the providers deliver timely and according to contracted scope 
  • Coordinate providers and stadium representatives to plan site visits, tests phases and tournament operations 
  • Deal with administrative tasks related to each contracted provider, ex. follow up of payment schedule (purchase orders, invoicing and payment).  
  • Work together with the Nyon-based access control team to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations 
  • Define testing protocol and prepare materials for remote and onsite tests  
  • Plan, organize and execute test phases in the different venues in liaison with stakeholders concerned 
  • Prepare training content and deliver trainings onsite for venue staff, volunteers and other stakeholders as required 
  • Track and report on the project deliverables 
  • Supervise(both onsite and remotely) the venue teams managing Access Control 
  • Support remotely venue access control staff in their daily tasks 
  • Monitor Access Control Systems during ingress operations on Match days in several venues 
  • Follow-up providers and make sure they deliver support according to the contracted services 
  • Document and report access control operations for debriefing  
  • Actively contribute to project management and process documentation 
Education
  • Information technology orengineering or other relevant area 
Work experience
  • 2-3 years' experience working with access control system, ticketing solutions or a similar area, ideally in large scale events
  • Expertise in Access Control Systems is an asset 
  • Understanding of IT network, connectivity and APIs´ is a plus
