The job
The Data Analyst (m/f/d) is responsible for analysing large and complex Ticketing Sales and Operations data to indicate patterns and trends; and presenting data and findings in ways that are easy to read and understand and enable business decisions. Data Analyst will be working for UEFA EURO 2024, UEFA Nations League Finals, UEFA club competition finals as well as other competitions serviced by UEFA Ticketing.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
  • Managing and understanding large and complex datasets 
  • Extracting and analysing information from datasets and presenting identified patterns and trends in a comprehensible form to support data-driven decision-making
  • Transforming the analysis done into a visual context – in a form of tables, charts, and graphs
  • Producing, updating, and publishing Tableau reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with the ticketing system provider and any other service provider(s)
  • Optimising existing ticketing reports and dashboards (Tableau dashboards and BI reports from the Ticketing system provider)
  • Assisting the upper management with data and insights to support key projects 
  • Being ready to conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis, when required
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks within other areas in ticketing
Education
  • University degree or other relevant education
Work experience
  • 2-4 years relevant experience in analytics, data mining; and working with visualization tools, in particular Tableau. Experience in fraud prevention, fraud scoring, and/or payment fraud is an advantage
Set of Skills
  • German (Proficient)
  • English (Proficient)
  • Technical skills: SQL, Excel, Tableau (Advanced)
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe; work on weekends
