The job
The ICT Workplace & Hardware Coordinator (m/f/d) is a key role in the ICT Operation team. 

He/she has to assist UEFA and EURO ICT management in the preparation of the next UEFA European Championship (EURO2024) is being held in Germany in 10 different cities. In the context of this event UEFA ICT is looking for a suitable experienced candidate who can work in a dynamic, international environment and has very good working experience handling ICT H/W equipments.
 
The ICT HW Coordinator is the link between multiple teams for the entire hardware & Software  lifecycle (purchase order, deliveries, asset management, recycling, shipment).

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
  • Single point of contact for Hardware for EURO 24 colleagues
  • Maintain required levels of consumables
  • Maintaining the inventory of hardware components and software licenses and ensure they are correctly registered against the right person
  • Manage and control the equipment lifecycle in the tool provided
  • Stock management for the EURO 24 campus
  • Create purchase requisitions for all IT assets
  • Research products and equipment based on colleagues’ requests 
  • Provide periodic reports to the UEFA ICT management
  • Manage the preparation, configuration and shipments of all ICT equipments to and from all EURO Venues:
    • Access devices: Scanners/reader, Sim Cards, etc.
    • Accreditation: printers, 
    • Laptops staging: Corop, non corp, accreditation, etc.
    • Etc.
  • Performs routine system maintenance with the local Service desk.
    • Perform tests 
    • OS updates
    • Etc
  • Manage stakeholder’s IT requirements  
  • Support the IT team by removing roadblocks on the day to day activities
  • Help Manage IT development and support process at Euro24 campus, especially with local ServiceDesk colleagues
  • Manage all IT communications with the project teams at Nyon and help any UEFA ICT resolving groups
  • Report to ICT E24 Venue Manager onsite in Frankfurt OFS and to ICT Operations Management in Nyon
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Work experience
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar ICT Role
Set of Skills
  • Good understanding of computer systems, network, mobile devices and other tech products:
    • Microsoft office
    • Knowledge on different based operating systems: Windows, Apple iOS, Android, etc.
    • MDM solutions
    • eProcurment tools
    • ITSM tools (Service Now)
  • English (fluent)
  • German, French or any other language is an asset
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Good experience of managing IT projects involving Timelines, resources and budget
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
  • Open minded and service oriented
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Flexible and adapt to changes
