The job
The mission of Ticketing (TICK) is to maximize ticketing revenues and optimize attendance at all matches through a fair and transparent system, which provides value for money for all spectators in a safe and festive environment. There will be no ticket sales at outlets on-site in host cities; the ticketing team on-site will mainly focus on the troubleshooting of possible issues, the delivery of excellent customer service and the implementation of the mobile ticket project on the ground. EURO 2024 will be run with mobile ticket technology. The Venue Ticketing Manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for the implementation of the Ticketing project in their EURO 2024 venue and onsite operations. The position will report to the Venue Manager and Ticketing HQ team.

Salary structure
With the following information, we would like to give you an insight into the general conditions and our salary ranges. The salaries we call are based on several criteria, including the project, general responsibility and the required set of skills. This includes the knowledge & skills already acquired in professional work experience as well as verifiable education in terms of a relevant degree or comparable qualification. Our positions are classified and remunerated according to the above criteria. Therefore, the monthly salary for the Manager position advised here is 5.000 € gross. Please note that over- or underpayment is possible depending on skills and specific experience. A bonus payment as a tournament bonus at the end of the employment is also possible.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
Communication and cooperation
  • Regular liaison with UEFA project stakeholders
  • Liaise daily with the Venue Manager (VMGT) in the venue
  • Lead and manage the Ticketing venue team including access control, ticketing centre and stadium bowl staff (based on UEFA HQ implementation guidelines from Nyon)
  • Coordinate with the Access Management (ACCS), Safety & Security (SECU), and Spectator Services (SPEC) teams within the venue to ensure the configuration of the ticket checks complies with the plan
  • Coordinate with the UEFA EURO 2024 project team onsite (such as TECH, SIGN, VIP) and stadium operators to ensure the requirements are met in terms of ticketing
  • Participate in the daily venue team meetings
Training of other staff members and/or volunteers
  • Prepare and conduct the ticketing specific training of Ticketing staff onsite and volunteers
  • Prepare documentation used for the on-site operations, ex.: for the training of volunteers 
  • Provide ticketing training to the staff involved in access procedures (including staff, stewards and volunteers sourced by other projects)
UEFA Mobile Ticketing and system knowledge
  • Become an expert of the UEFA Mobile Tickets app as trained by UEFA ticketing staff
  • Must know how to troubleshoot mobile ticketing issues using the S360 & TIXnGO console systems as trained by UEFA ticketing staff
  • Must know how to read and analyse mobile ticketing data using UEFA data monitoring tool (Tableau)
Event-time responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for match day preparations and operations
  • Troubleshoot problems concerning ticketing as they arise 
  • Support/liaise with Safety & Security (SECU), Spectator Services (SPEC) and Access Management (ACCS) 
  • Plan and allocate various daily tasks to the ticketing venue team (including volunteers)
  • Supervise the set-up and dismantling of ticketing facilities
  • Liaise with any appointed service providers 
  • Satisfy all customer ticketing needs at the venue and provide excellent customer service
  • Provide troubleshooting support for ticketing issues during match days in ticketing locations 
Administration
  • Daily liaison with the Ticketing HQ team (daily Venue Ticketing Managers meetings)
  • Submit daily reports and debriefs according to provided guidelines and deadlines
  • Provide post tournament report
Requirements
  • Experience of 3 years in ticketing or in major sports events or large international events in a relevant role
  • Team management skills
  • Experience in supervising a team
  • Favours team success over personal objectives
  • Experience in using a ticketing system
  • Full professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office and ability to familiarize with new IT systems quickly
  • Good presentation skills
  • Organized, service-oriented and resistant to stress
  • Available to work on the weekends and outside the office hours
  • University degree
Overall recruitment plan
