The job
The mission of Ticketing (TICK) is to maximize ticketing revenues and optimize attendance at all matches through a fair and transparent system, which provides value for money for all spectators in a safe and festive environment. There will be no ticket sales at outlets on-site in host cities; the ticketing team on-site will mainly focus on the troubleshooting of possible issues, the delivery of excellent customer service and the implementation of the mobile ticket project on the ground. EURO 2024 will be run with mobile ticket technology. The Venue Ticket Centre Coordinator (m/f/d) has the overall responsibility for the Ticketing Centre(s) in their venue including staff (volunteers), customer service, stakeholders, processes and facilities. Additionally, the Venue Ticketing Centre Coordinator may be involved in supporting and troubleshooting ticketing operations at the outer security perimeter. This position is reporting to the Venue Ticketing Manager and Ticketing HQ Team.

Salary structure
With the following information, we would like to give you an insight into the general conditions and our salary ranges. The salaries we call are based on several criteria, including the project, general responsibility and the required set of skills. This includes the knowledge & skills already acquired in professional work experience as well as verifiable education in terms of a relevant degree or comparable qualification. Our positions are classified and remunerated according to the above criteria. Therefore, the monthly salary for the Coordinator position advised here is 4.000 € gross. Please note that over- or underpayment is possible depending on skills and specific experience. A bonus payment as a tournament bonus at the end of the employment is also possible.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
Communication and cooperation
  • Collaborate closely with the Venue Ticketing Manager
  • Main contact for the Ticketing Centre and any related questions
  • Close collaboration with other projects: Safety & Security (SECU), Spectator Services (SPEC), and Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Signage (SIGN) and Venue Logistics (VLOG)
Training of other staff members and/or volunteers
  • Conduct training of Ticketing Centre volunteers
  • Prepare the documentation used for the training of Ticketing Centre volunteers
  • Translation of training materials to the local language if required 
  • Monitor the activity of volunteers and report any issue to Volunteer management
  • Provide ticketing training to stakeholders involved in managing the access of spectators (including stewards and security staff)
UEFA Mobile Ticketing and system knowledge
  • Become an expert of the UEFA Mobile Tickets app as trained by UEFA ticketing staff
  • Must know how to troubleshoot mobile ticketing issues using the S360 & TIXnGO console systems as trained by UEFA ticketing staff
  • Must know how to read and analyse mobile ticketing data using UEFA data monitoring tool (Tableau)
Event-time responsibilities
  • Preparation, set-up and dismantling of the Ticketing Centres
  • Ensure smooth running of the Ticketing Centres operations
  • Stock management 
  • Ensure an excellent customer service to the fans
  • Deliver first level troubleshooting related to the mobile ticketing / ticket collection process
  • Support other ticketing activities during match days if required (ticket check and activation at security points, troubleshooting outside stadium) or on non matchdays
  • Supervise the management of the facilities and queues
  • Manage ticketing centre volunteer related issues 
Administration
  • Submit daily reports and debriefs according to the provided guidelines and deadlines to the Venue Ticketing Manager and Ticketing HQ Team 
  • Prepare post-tournament reports
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in customer facing environment (for example: event ticketing, transport, international festivals, tourist agencies)
  • Experience in a supervisory position
  • 1-year experience in ticketing for international events
  • Experience working with ticketing software (super user): troubleshooting ticket and spectator issues 
  • Full professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Experience managing different facilities and maintenance, queues, volunteers and staff
  • Ability to multi-task, handle pressure and deadlines
  • Ability to motivate other people, stay positive, organized, service-oriented and resistant to stress 
  • Good knowledge of mobile devices and applications – quick learner
Overall recruitment plan
After screening all applications, we will start inviting interesting candidates for the first step in the recruitment process to a time-shifted video interview. Here, you will receive a questionnaire with some general and some job specific questions, which you have to answer via video or written. The second step for the short-listed candidates in the process is then a video interview with HR and the relevant project.
