The job
The mission of Ticketing (TICK) is to maximize ticketing revenues and optimize attendance at all matches through a fair and transparent system, which provides value for money for all spectators in a safe and festive environment. There will be no ticket sales at outlets on-site in host cities; the ticketing team on-site will mainly focus on the troubleshooting of possible issues, the delivery of excellent customer service and the implementation of the mobile ticket project on the ground. EURO 2024 will be run with mobile ticket technology. 

The Venue Mobile Ticketing Coordinator (m/f/d) will be responsible for the implementation of mobile ticketing operations and will lead the troubleshooting and support of ticketing operations at the entrances during match days. The Venue Mobile Ticketing Coordinator will support the Venue Ticketing Manager in the general administrative tasks. This position reports to the Venue Ticketing Manager and Ticketing HQ team. The Venue Ticketing Inventory Coordinator will take over shifts at the Ticketing Centre(s) during expected peak times if needed.

Salary structure
With the following information, we would like to give you an insight into the general conditions and our salary ranges. The salaries we call are based on several criteria, including the project, general responsibility and the required set of skills. This includes the knowledge & skills already acquired in professional work experience as well as verifiable education in terms of a relevant degree or comparable qualification. Our positions are classified and remunerated according to the above criteria. Therefore, the monthly salary for the Coordinator position advised here is 4.000 € gross. Please note that over- or underpayment is possible depending on skills and specific experience. A bonus payment as a tournament bonus at the end of the employment is also possible.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
Communication and cooperation
  • Collaborate closely with Venue Ticketing Manager and Venue Manager
  • Main contact for all mobile ticketing related questions
  • Liaise between ticketing staff, the host city, the stadium operators and other UEFA projects such as Guest Management & Protocol (VIP), Media Services and Operations (MOPS) , Safety & Security (SECU), Spectator Services (SPEC) and Signage (SIGN)
Training of other staff members and/or volunteers
  • Conduct the role specific training of the Ticketing Perimeter Support volunteers or other personnel
  • Prepare the documentation used for the training of the volunteers
  • Monitor the activity of the volunteers and report any issue to the Volunteer Manager
UEFA Mobile Ticketing and system knowledge
  • Become an expert of the UEFA Mobile Tickets app as trained by UEFA ticketing staff
  • Must know how to troubleshoot mobile ticketing issues using the S360 & TIXnGO console systems as trained by UEFA ticketing staff
  • Must know how to read and analyse mobile ticketing data using UEFA data monitoring tool (Tableau)
Event-time responsibilities
  • Implement match day operations at entrances in accordance with the ticketing operations plan and dot plans provided by UEFA HQ in Nyon
  • Perform tests according to protocol to ensure all materials are functional and ready for each match
  • Prepare and distribute mobile ticketing equipment (such as beacons) with volunteers
  • Volunteer planning for match day mobile ticketing operations
  • Support different ticketing activities as required: customer service, ticket check at security points, troubleshooting ticketing related issues outside the stadium
  • Support with safety and security, spectators and access control services
  • Provide customer service for ticketing matters at different ticketing locations: Entrances, Gates, Ticketing Centre, Ticket Info Point if required
  • Taking over shifts at the Ticketing Centre(s) during expected peak times if needed
Administration
  • Submit daily reports and debriefs according to the provided guidelines and deadlines to the Venue Ticketing Manager and Ticketing HQ Team
  • Prepare post-tournament report
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in stadium operations (ideally ticketing, facility or technical background)
  • Full professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Organized, precise, accuracy and resistant to stress, team player
  • Good team management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in stressful situations facing customers
  • Ability to motivate other people, stay positive, organized, service-oriented 
  • Good knowledge of mobile devices and applications - quick learner
  • Mobile ticketing and access control understanding
  • Experience working with ticketing software: troubleshooting ticket and spectator issues during games time
Overall recruitment plan
After screening all applications, we will start inviting interesting candidates for the first step in the recruitment process to a time-shifted video interview. Here, you will receive a questionnaire with some general and some job specific questions, which you have to answer via video or written. The second step for the short-listed candidates in the process is then a video interview with HR and the relevant project.
