The job
Signage (SIGN) includes production and installation of all branding elements which belong to stadium dressing (for all UEFA target groups, TV/media and hospitality) and the implementation of signage rights delivery for the different UEFA partners, especially LED pitch perimeter board advertising solutions, virtual board replacing technology and media backdrops.
 
The mission of the Venue Signage Coordinator (m/f/d) is to assist the Venue Signage Manager in the implementation of the EURO 2024 signage concept at his/her venue.

Salary structure
With the following information, we would like to give you an insight into the general conditions and our salary ranges. The salaries we call are based on several criteria, including the project, general responsibility and the required set of skills. This includes the knowledge & skills already acquired in professional work experience as well as verifiable education in terms of a relevant degree or comparable qualification. Our positions are classified and remunerated according to the above criteria. Therefore, the monthly salary for the Coordinator position advised here is 4.000 € gross. Please note that over- or underpayment is possible depending on skills and specific experience. A bonus payment as a tournament bonus at the end of the employment is also possible.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
Communication and cooperation
  • Close collaboration and cooperation with the Venue Signage Manager and UEFA Signage EURO 2024 project leaders
  • Liaise with the relevant counterparts at UEFA, the EURO 2024 Venue Team and the Stadium Operator
  • Liaise with all third parties and suppliers in order to ensure permanent, consistent and smooth implementation
Set-up and planification responsibilities
  • Before the arrival of the Venue Signage Manager on site (around stadium hand-over), the Venue Signage Coordinator is the main Signage representative on site and assure the link between the venue and the core UEFA Signage Team. 
  • Coordinate the implementation of a few sub-projects which need an early installation and support the UEFA project leaders with last minute adjustments on site
  • Upon arrival of the Venue Signage Manager, assist the Venue Signage Manager in the management of the operational implementation of the Signage concept in the venue
  • Supervise progress of the installation and liaise with the supplier, especially the local suppliers
Administration
  • Contribute to the reporting and debriefing in accordance with EURO 2024 requirements
Requirements
  • Experience in event/signage/marketing operations at events (ideally sports sector) and/or Experience in working in a stadium/venue in an operational role
  • Experience working with suppliers and external stakeholders
  • Project Management skills
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written) as well as German
  • IT skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Advanced)
  • High level solution-oriented, team player with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
Overall recruitment plan
After screening all applications, we will start inviting interesting candidates for the first step in the recruitment process to a time-shifted video interview. Here, you will receive a questionnaire with some general and some job specific questions, which you have to answer via video or written. The second step for the short-listed candidates in the process is then a video interview with HR and the relevant project.
