The job
At each of the 10 EURO 2024 stadiums, the onsite Venue Management Team is responsible for overseeing the planning and final preparations of day to day and match day venue operations. The Senior Venue Manager is supported by a Deputy Venue Manager and a Venue Management Coordinator. Together, they must prepare, coordinate, and support the onsite team in the successful delivery of efficient, safe, and high-quality services to all client groups attending matches (the participating national teams, match officials, guests, spectators, etc.).
The Deputy Venue Manager (m/f/d) plays a key role in supporting the Senior Venue Manager in all his*her duties. It will remain under the discretion of the Senior Venue Manager to delegate specific duties and tasks to his*her deputy. Overall, the Deputy Venue Manager should be able to demonstrate similar attributes required by a Senior Venue Manager although less seniority might be expected for this position. The right candidate will be openminded and eager to support when called upon to support in the resolution of any issue that may arise on-site.

Overall recruitment plan
After screening all applications, we will start inviting interesting candidates for the first step in the recruitment process to a time-shifted video interview. Here, you will receive a questionnaire with some general and some job specific questions, which you have to answer via video or written. The second step for the short-listed candidates in the process is then a video interview with HR and the relevant project.
Please note that due to the high number of open positions, the interview phase will probably start in September 2023. We try to provide you feedback as soon as possible. Thanks already for your patience.
