The job
The Venue Accreditation Manager (m/f/d) ensures the smooth implementation of accreditation operations in the respective EURO 2024 venue, based on the guidelines provided by the Accreditation Project Leader. He*She runs the Accreditation Centre and issues accreditation devices in a secure and fast manner.

Salary structure
With the following information, we would like to give you an insight into the general conditions and our salary ranges. The salaries we call are based on several criteria, including the project, general responsibility and the required set of skills. This includes the knowledge & skills already acquired in professional work experience as well as verifiable education in terms of a relevant degree or comparable qualification. Our positions are classified and remunerated according to the above criteria. Therefore, the monthly salary for the Manager position advised here is 5.000 € gross. Please note that over- or underpayment is possible depending on skills and specific experience. A bonus payment as a tournament bonus at the end of the employment is also possible.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
Communication and cooperation
  • Attend venue organisational meetings
  • Integrate well into the accreditation team and the overall EURO 2024 venue team
  • Collaborate with various internal projects
  • Liaise with the Accreditation Project Leader
  • Train and inform the overall venue team about accreditation operations
  • Regular reporting in accordance with EURO 2024 requirements
ACCR workforce responsibilities
  • Train and lead a team composed of two paid staff members
  • Prepare the documentation used for the volunteers training
  • Organise and participate in the volunteers training
  • Monitor the activity of the volunteers and report any issues to the Venue Volunteer Team
Event-time responsibilities
  • Coordinate the setup and dismantling of the Accreditation Centre on behalf of Venue Management
  • Manage the Accreditation Centre daily operations
  • Deliver 1st level troubleshooting
  • Implement EURO 2024 customer service policy in the Accreditation Centre
Administration
  • Define the split of responsibilities and produce shift plans for all persons involved in accreditation operations
  • Stock management
  • Debrief regarding the accreditation onsite operations
Requirements
  • University Degree or similar, preferably in sport or event management
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a similar role in (Sport) Event/Project Management and/or transferable skills, preferably within access management, accreditation, safety and security or venue management
  • Ability to work in stressful situations, juggling multiple tasks and under time constraints
  • Experienced with database/online booking systems
  • Project Management skills
  • English (Proficient), German is an asset
  • IT skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Advanced)
  • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with a new software
  • Assertiveness (firm but friendly attitude in conflict situations)
Overall recruitment plan
After screening all applications, we will start inviting interesting candidates for the first step in the recruitment process to a time-shifted video interview. Here, you will receive a questionnaire with some general and some job specific questions, which you have to answer via video or written. The second step for the short-listed candidates in the process is then a video interview with HR and the relevant project.
