The job
The Access Management project provides services and solutions relating to the ingress and egress of people and vehicles at the EURO 2024 venues. The Access Management Team will ensure that policies and procedures are in place for ticket holders, accreditation holders and accredited vehicles to enter and exit the venue safely and securely

Salary structure
With the following information, we would like to give you an insight into the general conditions and our salary ranges. The salaries we call are based on several criteria, including the project, general responsibility and the required set of skills. This includes the knowledge & skills already acquired in professional work experience as well as verifiable education in terms of a relevant degree or comparable qualification. Our positions are classified and remunerated according to the above criteria. Therefore, the monthly salary for the Manager position advised here is 5.000 € gross. Please note that over- or underpayment is possible depending on skills and specific experience. A bonus payment as a tournament bonus at the end of the employment is also possible.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
  • Delivering the access management concept within the venue, taking into account the specific requirements of the venue
  • Coordinate with the EURO 2024 project team on site to ensure agreed access requirements are implemented
  • Confirm the planned flows and access routes for each target group entering the venue are still valid and ensure that these are in line with the event mobility and event transport plan
  • Update and provide core documentation to assist and support EURO projects/suppliers, detailing agreed venue access processes and procedures
  • Coordinate with the Venue Security Team to ensure access configuration is in line with the overall security and safety plan
  • Work with the Accreditation Team to ensure appropriate access rights are in place for accredited staff based on their role
  • Liaise daily with the Venue Manager in the venue and the Access Management core team to review, change and/or update venue access operations
  • Gather, coordinate and manage of access devices/materials needed to implement access procedures 
  • Managing the use of electronical access tools (scanners)
  • Ensure the provision of access control checkpoints at the venue. 
  • Monitor that positions are active according to the agreed steward deployment plan, that checkpoints are equipped with the necessary equipment and that staff are trained according to their role in access control
  • Develop and provide overarching access training to the stakeholders involved in managing the flows and access (incl. stewards and security staff)
  • Managing the Venue Access Coordinator 
  • Plan and allocate various daily tasks to the Venue Access Coordinator (one per venue) incl. the Venue Access Management Volunteers (8 per venue)
  • Provide troubleshooting support for access issues
  • Submit daily reports and debriefs (including statistics) in accordance with guidelines and deadlines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Sports Science or any equivalent education qualification
  • Previous major sport event experiences  
  • Good level of English (both spoken and written) and highly proficient in German 
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (specifically excel) and ability to familiarize with ICT systems quickly
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong communication skills and diplomacy to discuss matters with internal and external UEFA stakeholders
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure
  • Highly solution oriented
Overall recruitment plan
After screening all applications, we will start inviting interesting candidates for the first step in the recruitment process to a time-shifted video interview. Here, you will receive a questionnaire with some general and some job specific questions, which you have to answer via video or written.
