The job
The mission of Event Transport (ETRN) is to provide safe, secure and reliable passenger transportation to specific target groups and to enforce seamless vehicle access & parking operations at the stadium.  
  
The Airport Assistant (m/f/d) will be responsible for the implementation of Event Transport and Guest Management operations at the Host City airport(s). This role reports to the Arrivals and Departures Coordinator.

Salary structure
With the following information, we would like to give you an insight into the general conditions and our salary ranges. The salaries we call are based on several criteria, including the project, general responsibility and the required set of skills. This includes the knowledge & skills already acquired in professional work experience as well as verifiable education in terms of a relevant degree or comparable qualification. Our positions are classified and remunerated according to the above criteria. Therefore, the monthly salary for the Assistant position advised here is 3.100 € gross. Please note that over- or underpayment is possible depending on skills and specific experience. A bonus payment as a tournament bonus at the end of the employment is also possible.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
Communication and cooperation 
  • Assist local coordination between airport operators, service providers and internal stakeholders, such as Supporter Travel & Mobility (MOBI), Guest Management and Protocol (VIPS) and Team Services & Training Grounds (TEAM) 
  • Cooperate closely with event service providers on-site in order to guarantee the fulfilment of service requirements 
ETRN workforce responsibilities 
  • Assist the arrivals & departures operations in the Host City airport(s) 
  • Apply all arrivals & departures processes and procedures in accordance to guidelines from UEFA and service level agreements 
Event-time responsibilities 
  • Assist the provision of arrivals & departures services in the Host City 
    • Support implementation of airport operational plans 
    • Responsible for setting-up airport welcome services (transportation desks, offices, transportation points and staging areas) according to UEFA guidelines and service level agreements 
    • Ensure transportation services for all UEFA target groups is provided according to service level agreements 
    • Ensure implementation of processes and procedures for Participating National Associations (PNA) arrivals and departures movements  
  • Assist proper data collection of all arrivals & departures services in accordance to UEFA requirements 
Administration 
  • Apply procedures with regards to cost control and supplier management in line with project guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree (ideally relating to transport, logistics or supply chains, business or international project management)
  • Previous experience in the fields of Event Transport, Venue Management or Access Management an advantage 
  • Previous experience working on sporting events an advantage
  • Experience of working on large-scale sport events is considered a strong asset
  • Computer-literate: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project (Proficient)
  • AutoCad
  • German and English (Proficient)
  • Adapting and responding to change
Overall recruitment plan
After screening all applications, we will start inviting interesting candidates for the first step in the recruitment process to a time-shifted video interview.
