The job
The Staff Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) supports the Staff Logistics Manager in all EURO 2024 staff accommodation related topics. Now that most of the hotels have been contracted, the purpose of the role is to prepare and coordinate the operations of the EURO 2024 staff hotels. In total, approximately 3’500 staff members will need to be accommodated in over 35 contracted hotels, representing a total of around 80’000 overnights.

List of relevant tasks & responsibilities
  • Assess and update hotel selection for EURO 2024 staff 
  • Contract additional hotels depending on the latest needs 
  • Attend hotel site visits if required 
  • Create the contracted hotels & allotments in the database 
  • Coordinate hotel allotment management according to the given cancellation policies 
  • Coordinate the overall operations (rooming list, allotment updates, communication with the hotels, etc.) 
  • Ensure that UEFA policies are implemented within his/her/their area of influence 
  • In case of need, supports his/her/their colleagues in the organisation of other events
Education
  • University degree or similar with focus on Event Management 
  • Tourism, hotel or travel qualification an advantage 
Work experience
  • Experience with large event accommodation planning and management 
  • Experience in organisation of large-scale sport or corporate events an advantage 
  • Experience working on-site at international sports event an advantage 
  • Experience working with event-planning databases an advantage 
Set of Skills
  • Project Management (proficient) 
  • English (proficient)
  • Any other language an asset 
  • Organizational skills  
  • Good understanding of event/hotel industry 
  • Computer-literate: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams 
  • At ease with figures 
  • Experience working with databases
